          ⭐Acting is not a shortcut⭐

Okay  I truly hope this message will bring about change even if it impacts just one person or society as a whole.Around the world acting is considered a serious and highly respected profession. It is a vast subject that requires dedication, discipline and continuous learning. People in many countries value this art deeply and never take it lightly. However in Sri Lanka today many seem to believe that winning a beauty pageant or gaining a large social media following is enough to enter the acting industry. This is a huge misconception. Acting demands much more training, experience, emotional depth and a genuine talent.

Decades ago entering the industry was not easy. It required talent, effort, and perseverance. But nowadays with the rise of social media platforms the industry can sometimes appear to be an easy space to enter. This shift has affected the standards and perceptions of acting.

In the past, legends like Rukmani Devi were even featured in international platforms such as Filmfare magazine in India. During that time Indian audiences recognized and respected the strength and quality of our film industry and rightfully so.We are proud to own the first ever teledrama from South Asia which is ''Dimuthu Muthu'' that directed by Mr.D.B.Nihalsinghe.We truly had a remarkable industry filled with talented individuals. Sadly over time it seems to have declined to a lower standard.I  hope that proper rules and regulations will be introduced to uplift this industry once again
