⭐Skygazing⭐

The sky is truly an extraordinary creation of nature.It makes so many different feelings within me. Even though it is miles away from the earth, there is something about it that makes me feel deeply connected to it. Whenever I feel sorrowful or happy I find myself looking up at the sky. In a way it feels like we can communicate with it without using words.

Sometimes the sky transforms into a  piece of art filled with beautiful colors and endless patterns.I feel like the sky is the largest canvas in the entire universe. I love watching the way it changes from soft morning sunrise to golden sunsets. Each moment feels unique and magical.

Capturing these pretty skies has become something I truly enjoy. It’s like saving little pieces of beauty to cherish later. My friends know how much I love the sky, so whenever they see a beautiful view they always send me pictures. That makes it even more special because it feels like they are sharing those peaceful moments with me.

                      ⭐Tails of joy⭐     

One day I received a very special gift that left me  speechless.A little cotton ball that could breathe.That’s how I met my precious pet.She is absolutely stunning and has brought immense joy into my life.From the very beginning she filled my days with warmth, laughter and unconditional love.

Aura loves doing the most adorable things, and her charm captivates everyone around her. She has a playful and loving personality that makes it impossible not to fall in love with her. Whenever we step out she effortlessly steals the spotlight with her unique beauty. With one blue eye and one brown eye she is truly one of a kind.

I have fallen deeply in love with her and she loves me just the same. The bond we share is something truly special and irreplaceable. No matter how my day goes coming home to her makes everything better. Having Aura, my furry child by my side makes my life feel complete and I cannot imagine my world without her.

              ⭐Roots and Memories⭐ 

I’d like to give you a sneak peek into my hometown. I was born in Trincomalee but after completing my Grade 5 scholarship examination I moved to Anuradhapura where I truly grew up. It was a wonderful opportunity to be raised in such a sacred and historical city. I feel incredibly grateful to have had the chance to learn and grow surrounded by remarkable landmarks such as Sri Maha Bodhi and the Ruwanweliseya Stupa.Their spiritual and cultural influence has played a significant role in shaping the person I am today.

Life in Anuradhapura taught me not only about history and tradition but also about discipline,respect and inner peace.The calm and serene environment of the city always gave me a sense of comfort and made my childhood even more meaningful.

I attended Central College Anuradhapura and I am truly thankful for the experiences I gained there.I was an active student always urge to participate in extracurricular activities. I was a part of the dancing team, music team, Eastern band and the media unit. Each of these experiences helped me discover my talents, build my confidence and create unforgettable memories. Those school days will always hold a special place in my heart.

⭐Dream came true⭐

This day will be special forever.This milestone truly deserves a place here.After thousands of baby steps, countless struggles and sleepless nights I finally made it to university.I still remember it was the 12th of February, a full moon Poya day.I was scrolling on my phone when I received a message from the UGC.I couldn’t believe it so I screamed.

My Ammi was in the washroom at that time so I knocked on the door and shouted.Everyone came running and I told them that I had been selected for the University of Visual and Performing Arts.I remember my Thaththi’s eyes brimming with tears and I saw my parents’ eyes shining with hope.My Ammi gave me a letter filled with all her emotions and I still carry that letter in my wallet wherever I go.

Fulfilling my dream on my own feels different.I am so proud of myself.Go and achieve your goals!

                       

                   ⭐My best friend⭐ 

Oh!How can I forget her? She is Thanuri. It has been nine years of our friendship and day by day she has proven that she is truly my soul sister. She is the kindest person I have ever known. We grew from “let’s meet tomorrow in class” to endlessly talking about our lives. I am so grateful for everything she has done for me. Sometimes she supported me more than she could.

We have so many beautiful memories. She has a real talent for drawing and she is such a pretty girl. Recently she graduated in interior designing. I feel incredibly lucky to have a best friend like her. She cheers the loudest for me in every winning moment. Even after school we chose different paths but we have never made each other feel distant. I have learned so many things from her. I feel like she is a lifelong investment in my life. Why not? An unpaid therapist and a happy pill like her are truly priceless.

                          ⭐Teddy by my side,forever⭐

Well this may sound like a weird topic but I’m going to share something very special to me.It’s my lovey dovey teddy bear named Booba.My mom told me that he was gifted to me by my maternal grandpa on the day I was born.So from day one he has grown up with me.

Every single day he has slept with me and we have shared countless cuddles.My grandpa passed away years ago and from that day on I feel like he is still with me.All his memories come rushing back whenever I see my Booba.

Sometimes I talk to him because it brings me comfort. Even though it may seem like an unusual thing but I truly love it.Is it just me or do you guys also have something special like this from your childhood or from the day you were born?

                           ⭐Home⭐

As my first blog,I decided to write about my family which means HOME to me.When it comes to home it is not only about a house but also about love,unity and the beginning of everything.In my family I have my mom,dad and sister.Since my childhood I've witnessed my parents’ sacrifices to raise us.I feel truly blessed to be their daughter.

Through every up and down they have stood by my side.No matter where I go at the end of the day I always want to be with my family.They have made it the safest place for me.The best gift my parents have given me is my sister.She is my biggest supporter and always there as a shoulder to lean on.My family is the greatest blessing in my life.

My biggest goal is to see a smile on my parents’ faces.Even though I am an adult they still take care of me like a baby.They have never clipped my wings instead they have always guided me to fly with my talents.My first teacher was my mom who taught me how to sing ,draw, write and read.I still cherish our conversations.Even when I feel lost I know that in their eyes I will always be a winner.They have taught me good values and a sense of humor not just through words but through their actions too.I hope everyone in this world gets a family like mine.
